R2 Fitness provides services for those preparing for film/TV/live performances. Our baseline offerings are the following:

INJURY PREVENTION – many “celebrity” trainers focus so much on the goal that they do not protect the film’s most valuable assets – the actors. We reach our client’s goals and focus on proper mechanics, ideal mobility and stability, and structural integrity.

LEAN BODIES – our biggest request tends to be for “a lean sexy body.” Fat loss is a key to seeing abdominal muscles (not crunches) and distinction between muscles, and highlighting specific body features.

BUILD MUSCLE – though not for all roles (or genders), the building of certain body parts is the difference between landing a role, performing a role, and/or even box office/billboard success. Bankable bodies are built with a regimen of specific resistance training and cardiorespiratory guidelines, specific nutritional demands, and high levels of commitment, coaching, and motivation.

INCREASED PERFORMANCE – some roles require the ability to play sports such as boxing, baseball, racquet sports, etc. Or, perhaps to even swing on webs, hang from cables, or battle evil forces. Our trainers are able to better prepare actors both look and function better in these specific roles.

ON SITE SERVICE – artists on the road may find it difficult to remain (or become) fit and healthy. R2 Fitness provides trainers for artists on the road or on location to help keep your clients on track.
